French self-taught sculptor, lives in Lima (Peru) since late 1996. After a long career as a researcher in crop protection at the international level, in 2007 she decided to prioritize her passion for sculpture. In parallel with her academic studies and professional activity she participated in several workshops of pottery and clay modeling. From June 2007 until November 2008 she was launched at the carving of alabaster and marble in the workshop "Junín 430" in Barranco (Lima) under the supervision of the Peruvian sculptor Jorge Huaman Barrueta. She is currently working independently these materials in her studio.

"In sculpture I am interested in keeping the balance between idea, form and matter. I chose the stone as my primary means of expression because my recent approach to this material was to me surprising and healing. I feel a dialogue with the stones, loaded with memory and cosmic energy. I aspire to transcend the forms, not just to please the senses but to convey a spiritual vitality that is much more moving.
I am inspired by natural elements and the timeless and universal themes as the duality, the cyclical rhythm, infinity, the unseen, the union and harmony or dissolution of these. The play between full and empty spaces and the spiral are very present in my sculptures. Some are like calligraphy in space, where the sensuality or the tenderness transmuted from the human body to pure form; others are more geometric, but with many symbolic references. The serenity, constancy and simplicity are the main objectives I pursue and hope to convey through my sculptures. "
